The street reconstruction project that’s closed down a major Janesville thoroughfare to through traffic inches closer to completion.
The East Milwaukee Street reconstruction project in Janesville is on schedule to wrap up in mid-October.
Project Engineer Colton Tuescher says the weather has been mostly cooperative.
Tuescher says the Main Street intersection will need to be closed for 10 days for paving, at which point the Parker Drive intersection will open up as a detour.
