The Janesville Area Convention and Visitor’s Bureau offers training and education in hosting special events.
Executive Director Christine Rebout says member of the public are invited to a free symposium on August 20th from 1:00 until 5:30 p.m. at the Janesville Performing Arts Center.
The event will provide local event planners including attractions, organizations, and individuals with training and information that can help in starting a new event or growing and developing an existing one.
Rebout says that while the event is free, you need to register in advance on the Janesville Area Convention and visitors Bureau website.
