Summer vacation is coming to a close for students in the Janesville School District.
Superintendent Mark Holzman says welcome activities will be happening August 31st.
Holzman says sixth and ninth graders will have an opportunity to walk through their schools and classrooms with upperclassman and staff.
Holzman says the elementary schools will also have welcome back events with opportunities for small group one-on-one introductions.
Over 80 new staff members will be working with Forward Janesville to tour the community this week.
