A local service club is betting a truck load of sweet corn will attract a crowd at Traxler Park in Janesville Saturday.
Co-President Mick Gilbertson says the Janesville Noon Rotary will be giving out free bags of sweet corn from 8:00 a.m. until noon.
Janesville Noon Rotary is also having the Making the Grade event for Janesville and Milton High School students in grades 10-12 with a 3.0 GPA. Students may pick up a Making the Grade medallion, a window decal, free corn, and deposit their invitation entry for a chance to win a $50 cash gift card or a $250 Scholarship.
