Janesville police are investigating an early morning stabbing. Police say officers were called to the 1300 block of Morningside Drive about 12:30 a.m. Thursday. Rock County Emergency Dispatch advised officers a male victim had been stabbed in the arm by his girlfriend. Police say the girlfriend left before they arrived. The victim suffered a non-life-threatening wound and refused to be transported for medical treatment. Police say the victim previously lived with the suspect in Illinois. A weapons has been recovered.
