In early October, elite runner will take to the streets of Janesville to raise funds for Project 16:49.
Organizer and Janesville native Shilo Titus says he plans to run for 16 hours and 49 minutes, nearly five hours longer than his longest run to date, while raising $16,490 which is the approximate monthly cost of operating each of the non-profit’s transitional living homes.
Titus says the organization’s mission hits close to home for him, as he has two teenagers and has seen through their eyes what can happen to kids their age if they don’t have the support system they might need.
The run will take place October 6th, and people can donate by searching “Shilo’s Fundraiser” on Facebook.
