With $250,000 in ARPA funds available to non-profits, the city of Beloit is giving residents one last chance to offer their opinion on how they money should be spent.
Director of Strategic Communications Sarah Lock says they are looking for the community to share what the needs are for non-profit youth programming at a public input session at 6pm at the Merrill Community Center.
Lock says some of the previous feedback has included serving a diverse population, providing transportation to and from youth programming, and offsetting the cost of programming.
If people can’t attend the meeting, they can submit comments to Public Works Director Bill Frisbee by 4pm Wednesday.
