The Milton Police Commission has officially made an offer to the candidate they want to be the next chief of Police.
Commission President Ken Smith says Brandon Sachse has been offered the job, and he thinks Sachse will do a great job in leading the force and building off what current Chief Scott Marquardt has established in Milton.
Smith says a combination of things made Sachse standout, and they were glad to have two qualified candidates to pick from.
According to the city’s website, Sachse was most recently the captain of investigations with the Fort Atkinson Police Department and has 15 years of experience as a patrol officer, a detective on the Jefferson County Drug Task Force, and has supervised the patrol division for several years.
The Milton City Council will vote to approve the confirmation at their meeting next week.
