A 50-year-old Beloit man is under arrest on suspicion of possession of child pornography.
According to a news release, detectives from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, the Janesville Police Department, and the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation Digital Evidence Unit executed a search warrant on a home on the 1100 block of Fifth Street in the City of Beloit.
The subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of David J. Walter for seven counts of possession of child pornography.
Walter is expected to make his initial appearance in Rock County Court Wednesday afternoon.
