The University of Wisconsin – Whitewater at Rock County continues an annual tradition of participating in the American Solar Energy Society’s national solar tour.

Emeritus Professor Bob McCallister says the campus in Janesville has three different solar array configurations.

Visitors will also have a chance to walk through the new pollinator prairie habitat restoration amidst the solar PV pole mounts.

The solar power and pollinator prairie open house will take place Friday from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
