According to the City of Janesville Alan Fear has withdrawn his application for the open police chief position.
That leaves former Carpentersville, Illinois Police Chief Patrick Hoey, and Acting Janesville Police Chief Chad Pearson in the running.
Members of the public will have a chance to ask questions, discuss topics of interest, and provide feedback on the candidates during a community reception on November 28th.
The event will run from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the Janesville Performing Arts Center.
