The Evansville Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism is working to get the community in the holiday spirit.
Executive Director Shawn Dunphy says the annual Olde Fashioned Christmas kicks off on Friday evening with the lighting of the holiday lights near the library, carriage rides, and cookie and ornament decorating.
Saturday morning, Santa and Mrs. Clause will arrive via firetruck at 10:00 a.m. to the lower level of the Grange Store Building. Afterwards, children will have a chance to ride on a firetruck.
