There’s a month left to nominate individuals or organizations for the YWCA Rock County’s annual Racial Justice Award.
Racial Justice Director Amiee Leavy says past recipients include Jean Carfora, Billy Bob Grahn, Dorothy Harrell, and Police Chief David Moore.
Nominations can be made on the YWCA’s website through December 15th.
The Racial Justice Award will be presented at the Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration at Blackhawk Technical College on January 13th.
