A Wisconsin First Lego League Regional tournament comes to Janesville Parker Saturday.
Parker High School Computer Science teacher Bob Getka says 29 teams from all over southern Wisconsin will take part in the competition and will fight for a spot in the sectionals with the hopes of eventually making it to state.
Getka says this year’s theme will see teams highlight the role that science, technology, engineering, and mathematics play in the arts, and the teams will be judged on their presentation as well as how their LEGO robot is programmed to complete certain tasks.
The event is open to the public and runs from 9am until 3pm on Saturday.
