The Giving Tree is up once again at the Hedberg Public Library in Janesville.
Friends of the Library Board President Mary Knudson says they put the tree up twice a year, and people can stop by the library to pick up an ornament that has a wish list item, and then return the ornament and the gift to the library.
Knudson says a lot of the items needed will be craft related things like glue sticks, crayons, and markers; but they’re also looking for items for their homeless care kits like toothpaste, deodorant, socks, shampoos, and toothbrushes.
People have through early January to drop off items at the Giving Tree.
