Beloit has officially moved their polling places for the upcoming spring election after a city council vote Monday night.
The city will no longer using elementary schools as polling places due to concerns about security and safety and will shift to seven locations.
The new locations will be Sun Valley Presbyterian Church, Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Krueger-Haskell Golf Course, First Congregational Church, the Beloit Public Library, River of Life United Methodist Church, and Central Christian Church.
Beloit residents are encouraged to verify their voting location before the upcoming election.
