SSM Health St. Mary’s in Janesville welcomed it’s fair share of new born babies in 2023.
Management Director Kari Enke says the hospital welcomed 457 new babies, with 233 being boys and 224 being girls, and they also had three sets of twins delivered at the hospital.
Enke says the most popular girl names for 2023 include Makenna, Scarlett, and Adeline, while the most popular boys names were Liam, Charlie, and Braden.
Enke says the smallest baby weighed in at 1lb 13oz, and the largest baby was 10lbs 10oz.
Birth totals were collected from December 1st of 2022 to November 30th of 2023 to represent a full calendar year.
