Janesville residents can now buy their licenses for the dogs and cats for 2024.
City Clerk Lori Stottler says the city requires a license for cats and dogs five months or older, and when people submit their application they must include proof of a valid rabies vaccination.
Stottler says licenses are $15 for spayed or neutered animals and $25 for animals that have not been spayed or neutered, and license renewals must be purchased by March 31st of 2024 to avoid a late fee and possible $263.50 fine.
Residents can visit the city’s website for more information or to download a mail-in application form.
