Blackhawk Technical College’s December graduation was big for a number of reasons this year.
Executive Director of Marketing and Communications Liz Paulsen says the class saw more than 110 graduates this winter, which is double the size compared to last year’s and saw student get degrees in everything from accounting to welding.
Paulsen say this most recent class is also special because three students achieved the distinction of being the first to complete Blackhawk’s innovative Associate of Arts and Associate of Science programs.
This is the second year Blackhawk has welcomed back their December commencement ceremony after a nearly decade long hiatus.
