Two of Rock County’s biggest cities have issued weather warnings ahead of forecasted snow early this week.
Janesville has issued a winter weather emergency in effect from 1am Tuesday until noon Wednesday.
During a winter weather emergency in Janesville, all parked vehicles must be removed from city streets until snow and ice operations are complete, and people can park their cars in available municipal lots if need be.
In Beloit, their winter weather emergency runs from 8am Tuesday through noon Wednesday, and vehicles parked or standing on a city street are prohibited during a winter weather emergency.

Evansville and Fort Atkinson have joined the fray in declaring winter weather emergencies.
Evansville’s runs from 4am Tuesday until 8am Wednesday, and shall be no parking permitted on either side of the city’s streets and all vehicles must be parked on private property or in designated public parking areas.
Fort Atkinson has declared an emergency from midnight Wednesday to noon Wednesday, and all vehicles must be removed from public streets and alleys.
