A workshop this winter that would’ve helped residents learn more about a proposal to open up Milton city streets as designated ATV-UTV routes is delayed.
Last year the Milton Common Council directed city staff to hold a workshop on ATVs and UTVs by February 15th.
City Administrator Paul Hensch says he’s having trouble finding presenters for the workshop after staff at the Department of Natural Resources indicated they no longer present on ATV routes within municipalities.
The Milton Common Council voted this week to move the deadline for the workshop to March 30th. Hensch says he’s hopeful he’ll be able to have the City of Jefferson’s Police Chief as a presenter.
