Rock County officials provide another update on last week’s record tornado that moved through Evansville.
Rock County Emergency Management Director Kevin Wernet says they’re continuing to assess the damage done, but as of Wednesday afternoon 30 homes had been impacted including 2 being totally destroyed.
Wernet says the property damage amount doesn’t include agriculture damages such as silos and equipment, but the damage to properties totals more than $2.4 million.
The EF-2 tornado was the first ever recorded in the state of Wisconsin during the month of February.
