MercyHealth in Janesville is holding an instructional session later Thursday to teach people about CPR.
EMS Manager Joe Murray says they’ll be promoting the hands only CPR, which is an effective way for your everyday person to be able to perform the life saving measure.
Murray says studies have shown that early access to CPR can make all the difference for patients, and getting early blood flow to not only the heart but the brain is even more beneficial and there’s a higher survivability outcome.
People can take part in instructional lessons at MercyHealth’s Community Center starting at 3pm today.
