Veterinary surgical services at the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin are expanding.
Operations Director Janean Boss-Anderson says the expansion includes a large increase in spay and neuter appointments for the community, along with specialty surgical services like stomach tack procedures and eye surgeries.
Boss-Anderson says being able to offer these services has allowed them to keep more pets in the home, manage populations better, and open up more days for public dog procedures.
People are encouraged to contact the humane society if they need to take advantage of any of their services.
