A suspect is expected to make make their initial appearance in Rock County Court Tuesday in connection with a child who was found dead in a town of Fulton home over the weekend.
According to a news release, Rock County Sheriff’s deputies were sent to the 5500 block of West Miles Road just after 6:00 Saturday evening in reference to a missing eight-year-old.
Rock County Sheriff Curtis Fell says within a matter of hours, the child was found deceased inside the home.
Fell says the person who was taken into custody Saturday has been charged and is expected to appear in court Tuesday.
Fell says the Sheriff’s Office hopes to release more information later Monday or Tuesday.
