A $2,500 cash bond is ordered for a woman with no fixed address who police say violently attacked a person while they were driving.

37-year-old Nikita Burris made her initial appearance in Rock County Court on Monday on charges of first-degree recklessly endangering safety, strangulation and suffocation, disorderly conduct, and battery.

According to the criminal complaint, Burris stabbed the victim with a box cutter, and later choked him with his rosary beads after he threw her crack bong out the window of his car.

Burris later overdosed on drugs in the middle of the street and had to be revived with Narcan.

She is due back in court on Friday for an adjourned initial appearance.
