Several incumbent Rock County Board members unseated Tuesday

Eight new people will join the 29-member Rock County Board of Supervisors following Tuesday’s election, although one race is yet to be decided.
In District two where incumbent Alan Sweeney filed a declaration of non-candidacy Doug Sutter beat out Greg Swanson with an unofficial vote count of 926 to 589.
In District four where Connie Winters filed a declaration of non-candidacy Christine Fugelseth was the highest vote-getter over Lyman Elliott III 769 to 349.
The District 11 race ended in a tie with both Lori Marshall and Brandon Buchanan both receiving 190 votes. Staff at the County Clerk’s Office say they will have to wait until the Board of Canvassers meet to certify the results before they decide how to declare a winner. Incumbent Janelle Crary did not seek re-election.
District 14 challenger Philip Gorman easily defeated incumbent Mike Zoril with 513 votes to Zoril’s 434.
In the District 22 race challenger Mike Schwarz beat incumbent Wes Davis with an unofficial vote count of 516 to 421.
The District 24 race saw incumbent Jeremy Zajac unseated by challenger Kevin Stone with a vote of 324 to 284.
District 26 incumbent Tricia Clasen also did not seek re-election. In that race Erica Boehlke beat out Bill Mitchell 601 to 382.
And in District 28 challenger Sue Ryan beat out incumbent Ronald Bomkamp 411 to 261.
