
Local school districts went one for four on passing referendum questions Tuesday.
Edgerton was the lone district to approve a referendum with more than 1,800 voters approving a $3.5 million recurring referendum.
Beloit School District voters overwhelmingly voted against a $9 million referendum, with more than 59% of voters opposing the question with just 40% voting yes.
The Parkview School District’s nearly $2.3 million referendum also failed, with 1,303 voting against and 1,025 voting in favor.
Evansville voters narrowly voted down their referendum, with 1,502 opposing and 1,433 voting in favor.
