The Boys & Girls Club of Janesville is $500,000 closer to their $12 million capital campaign goal thanks to some federal funding.
U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin secured the congressionally directed spending funds to go towards the Boys & Girls Club’s new facility on south Jackson Street.
CEO Rebecca Veium says the new building will allow them to triple their capacity.
Veium says they are hoping to break ground on the project this year for completion in 2025.
