The Rock County Medical Examiner’s office is releasing the names of the individuals who died in a motor vehicle crash in Lima last weekend.
The crash occurred at the intersection of US Highway 12 and East County Line Road, and the individuals were all from Whitewater and are Jeffrey Turnipseed, age 67, Ericka Berg, age 38, and Jamie Ranguette, age 39.
A sheriff’s office news release said that at about noon Saturday, a passenger van traveling east on East county Line Road failed to stop at Highway 12.
An SUV headed south on Highway 12 hit the driver side of the van in the intersection, and then a truck hauling a fifth-wheel hit the van.
The sheriff’s office says the three people were ejected from the van and died at the scene.
