The YWCA Rock County’s annual Stand Against Racism event is expanding.
Racial Justice Director Aimee Leavy says Stand will take the shape of three events this year — all rolling out from noon to 1 p.m.
This year’s events are Thursday at Lower Courthouse Park in Janesville, Friday at the Harry C. Moore Pavilion in Beloit, and on May 2 at North Goodrich Park in Milton.
Leavy says the theme for this year’s Stand Against Racism is “Building Bridges to Equity.”
