Rock County’s Public Health Department says it’s targeting mental health in its new community improvement plan after a recent survey showed some residents struggle to access mental health care services.
Public Health Strategist Shari Faber says the health department is launching a new web-based resource called CredibleMind.
Faber says the online tool helps hatch strategies to intervene earlier and provides support for people who are waiting for appointments, along with coping strategies to maintain wellness.
People who check in during may May will be entered in a drawing for a $100 gift card from CredibleMind.
