The playgrounds at a number of parks in Beloit could look quite different in short order as the city plans to replace them.

Parks and Recreation Director Tonya Johann says they’ve set aside ARPA funds to complete replace the playgrounds at U.S. Pride, Christilla, Horace White, and Brown Hatchett parks.

Johann says they want the publics input on what those new playgrounds could look like, so they’re holding a community input session will be held May 13th at the Beloit Public Library starting at 6pm.

Johann says an online survey will be available at the Beloit Recreation website for those who can’t make the meeting.
