The Beloit Police Department is making the public aware of a of convicted sex offender who is moving in to the community.
44-year-old Lamont Stewart was released from prison on April 9th and is moving to 1417 Hull Avenue in Beloit on Friday.
Stewart was convicted in 2004 of first degree sexual assault of a child.
While living in Beloit Stewart is not allowed to have unsupervised contact with minors, no contact with the victim, he’s not allowed to consume drugs, and must comply with standard sex offender rules.
