An upcoming Transportation Summit is giving Rock County residents the chance to learn more about their local transit services, while also offering input on how they can improve.
Mobility Manager John Disher says Rock County, Janesville and Beloit transit, and RSVP will be all be there to explain the services they have available for residents, but they also want to know what it is and isn’t working for those using these services.
Disher says one of the big barriers they hear from people is that providers just don’t have enough rides and drivers, so they want to know if that’s still an issue and if there’s ways they can better address that barrier.
The summit is free and runs from 10am to noon on May 31st at the Daniel Hale Williams Resource Center.
