Janesville motorists will soon have another place to get their oil changed in less time than it takes to eat lunch.
The Janesville Plan Commission has unanimously approved a conditional use permit for a new Valvoline Instant Oil Change between Carquest and Dollar Tree at 1950 Humes Road.
Senior Planner Brian Schweigl says the building would be 2000 square feet with three drive-thru service bays.
Schweigl says the project requires a conditional use permit because of the drive-thru aspect, and because the Plan Commission made it a condition in 2007 when the former Walmart on the property was redeveloped into the current multi-tenant space that includes Slumberland and Hobby Lobby.
