Rotary Botanical Gardens is expanding again.
The attraction in Janesville is looking to construct a new, 2,800-square-foot greenhouse.
Senior Planner Brian Schweigl says the botanical gardens submitted a request to re-zone two city-owned parcels on Sharon Street.
Schweigl says the properties were donated in 2021 for future use by Rotary Gardens.
Monday night the Janesville City Council referred the matter to the plan commission with plans to bring it back before the city council in July.
