
A teenager is facing charges in connection with a break-in that happened a little over a week ago at a Beloit elementary school.
According to the criminal complaint, Beloit Police were dispatched to Robinson Elementary School on May 5th on the report of a belated burglary.
Investigation determined that a staff member left an exterior window slightly open. A suspect forced the window open and entered the school, eventually stealing an iPad.
Beloit Police released photos of the suspect on social media and members of the community quickly identified him as 18-year-old Jordan of Beloit.
Beloit Police found Njos at the local library wearing the same face mask and shoes he was wearing in surveillance footage of the burglary.
Njos is charged in Rock County Court with burglary and misdemeanor theft.
