The Beloit teenager accused of shooting a 19-year-old woman while she was driving a vehicle on Christmas Day has his bail reduced.
In February Court Commissioner Jack Hoag set cash bail at $300,000 for 17-year-old Jahmir Smith on a single charge of attempted first-degree intentional homicide with use of a dangerous weapon.
According to online court records Wednesday afternoon Judge Ashley Morse granted a motion to reduce cash bond to $20,000.
Smith is due back in court for a calendar call on June 12th.
