Teen accused in pistol whipping takes plea deal

The Beloit teenager accused of pistol whipping a former classmate who was trying to buy THC cartridges from him takes a plea deal in Rock County Court.
According to online court records, on Wednesday 17-year-old Durrall Haury Hanson plead guilty to armed robbery, however Judge Ashley Morse withheld a finding of guilt as part of a felony hold open agreement.
Haury Hanson also plead guilty to aggravated battery. Judge Morse found him guilty of that charge and ordered his sentence withheld with 48 months of probation and nine months in the Rock County Jail.
Haury Hanson’s getaway driver took a plea deal in the case in April.
20-year-old Javon McAlister plead guilty to party to the crime of robbery with use of force, and no contest to charges of battery, party to the crime of theft, and disorderly conduct. Judge Ashley Morse withheld the finding of guilty in the robbery charge but found him guilty of the other charges. He was sentenced to 30 months of probation.
