Authorities say one person is dead in a two-vehicle crash on the north edge of Edgerton Friday night.
Dane County Sheriff’s Authorities say a 39-year-old person died at the scene after the crash shortly before 10:30 p.m. Friday on Edgerton Road at Highway 73. That’s in the town of Albion, just outside Edgerton.
The sheriff’s office says the crash left others in the vehicles injured, and they were transported to hospitals.
Authorities haven’t released the name of the person killed.
Dane County crash investigators shut down the stretch of road for about 4 1/2 hours overnight, and the crash remains under investigation.
