A 60-year-old Milton man is dead after a traffic crash west of Janesville. A news release reports the Rock County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle crash on North Britt Road near West Fenrick Road a little after 6:30 p.m. Sunday. The investigation revealed the vehicle was traveling north and failed to negotiate a curve, entered the ditch, and hit a tree. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was taken to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville and was later pronounced dead. The sheriff’s office news release says speed was a factor in the crash.
