A developer and Beloit city officials tried out duck-pin bowling to celebrate a ceremonial “first roll” Wednesday at the location of the future Henry Dorrbaker’s entertainment venue in downtown Beloit.

City Manager Jerry Gabrielatos says the more than 20,000-square-foot facility will be packed with options for adults who’re looking for more than a restaurant or bar.

Plans for the facility in the Ironworks Campus on Beloit’s downtown riverfront include duck pin bowling, mini golf, vintage arcade games, and a full bar and restaurant.

Crews already have broken ground on the project, and it’s expected to be up and running by the end of 2024.
