Patriotism will be on display in the city of Beloit as they host their Memorial Day parade Monday.
Director of Strategic Communications Sarah Lock says, the parade will step off at 9am in South Beloit on Blackhawk Boulevard near Winnebago Avenue and ends just before College Street and Horace White Park in Beloit.
Lock says safety is top of mind so they will increased police and public works vehicles blocking streets along the route so residents will not be able to drive through closed roads.
Regina Dunk, former Beloit City Council president, will be the grand marshal for the parade.
