It’s been 175 years since Wisconsin’s first governor and legislature created the University of Wisconsin.
Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association Managing Director Mike Fahey says the UW is highlighting its connection with Rock County with a community celebration next week.
It will will run from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on June 25th at Rotary Botanical Gardens in Janesville.
The free community event will feature Bucky Badger, free ice cream, free appetizers, a chance to win Badger football tickets, and photo opportunities.
