The Rock County Board has ratified the state of emergency declared after last weekend’s tornado.
Emergency Management Director Kevin Wernet says preliminary numbers show 380 businesses and residences were impacted by the storm, including 3 destroyed, 54 major, 202 minor, and 121 affected.
Wernet says they meet with officials Friday to determine what area might be eligible for Wisconsin Disaster Funds, but they expect only the Town of Rock and City of Janesville to meet the criteria.
Another resource fair will be held Tuesday to help those impacted.
