The Janesville School District is ready to pose two very big questions.
The school board is slated to review recommended language for the November ballot on both the district’s big-ticket referendum plans.
On Tuesday, the school board will look at both the $151 million capital spending referendum and the $14.5-million operational referendum.
Jansesville Schools Superintendent Mark Holzman says the two referendums would be placed as separate items on the November ballot if the board OKs them to be sent to the county clerk’s office.
The amount listed for both referendums roughly lines up with the district’s earlier proposals for a massive, 150-million-dollar ask on building revamp cash.
The other, smaller referendum, would ask whether taxpayers should give a financial boost to the district’s annual operations.
