A sexual predator from Illinois appears in Rock County Court after a judge last month issued a warrant for his arrest on new child sexual assault charges.
34-year-old Jacob Michael McMahon is charged with repeated sexual assault of a child and child enticement.
According to the criminal complaint, McMahon would lure a 10-year-old into the bedroom of a home in Janesville and hold his hand over her mouth as he sexually assaulted her.
The assaults happened multiple times between June 8th and July 4th of this year.
This week Rock County Court Commissioner Jack Hoag set McMahon’s cash bail at $100,000. He is due back in Rock County Court for his preliminary hearing on August 5th.
