The Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office has released the name of a 31-year-old Beloit woman killed in a car crash two weeks ago. A news release reports Brandi Van Gemert died at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash. Beloit police say the single-vehicle crash happened about 2:30 in the morning on July 26 in the 1200 block of Ritscher Street. Officers say the car crashed after veering across the road and rolling-over into a tree. Gemert was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
