KANDU Industries launches its much-anticipated Minds in Motion program.
Executive Director Kathy Hansen says by 2040, Rock County’s population of people 85 and older is expected to increase by 120 percent.
Hansen says Minds in Motion program provides opportunities for aging adults to increase physical movement, maintain cognitive abilities, and create social relationships, all leading to better mental and physical health outcomes.
Hansen says daily activities are carefully chosen and specifically designed to maintain and improve clients’ physical and cognitive functioning while supporting their mental and emotional health.
